Our Queens

RW SGC Mainelyclassic Melba of Mishikoonz "Melba"

Thanks so much to Rae Sammis for sharing this stunning girl - Melba holds a very special place in my heart as Mystic's mom. She's truly beautiful in her own right but her kittens have been breathtaking. She's a super sweet girl and one of my few "lapcats". Movie time is her favorite!

Mishikoonz La Reina du Chiffon "Dishy"

People tend to love the whites or hate them, but to me, nothing is more stunning than a solid white Maine Coon (unless perhaps a solid black!). My husband started calling this elegant lady "Dishrag" because as a kitten, she was ALWAYS in the kitchen sink. Somehow the awful nickname stuck, but we did manage an upgrade for her pedigree. Our sweet Dishrag became La Reina du Chiffon (Queen of the Rags) - a far more acceptable title for a for a well-bred young Queen!

Mainesuspect Sierra of Mishikoonz
"Sierra"

Sierra comes to me from Sherry Campbell at Mainesuspect. Sherry is a breeder who I've long admired and I was just thrilled to welcome this little ballerina to Mishikoonz. I'm even more thrilled to announce that Sierra and Mystic are expecting their first litter very soon now!

RW QGC Mainelyclassic Pandora Pi

Yet another wonderful girl from Rae Sammis at Mainelyclassic! I don't know how she does it, but I'm so grateful she's willing to share! Pandora is jointly owned with Rae, but is living here with us at Mishikoonz for her first litter. She's an amazing girl, with a classic look that I love and remarkable boning! Add to that the sound of her sweet chirps? I am completely in love.

Our up and coming Queen-to-Be!

Dawntreader Soo Jin of Mishikoonz
"Guppy"

Thank you so much, Misty and more thanks to your family for allowing Guppy to make her home here in Oregon - I know not everyone was happy with that decision! I promise to zoom so the girls can visit and make sure she's doing well, and I hope they won't be too sad with missing her. (And who knows? Maybe it won't be too long before a baby Guppy is swimming back to them!)
